“Bashert” (Destined)
An Autobiography by

CONRAD SINGER
December 1912   -  October 2006

Welcome to the story of Conrad Singer's life. In this story Conrad shares some remarkable pieces of luck that  enabled him to survive many battles & internment camps despite having served in four different armies. In his story you will see he had such lucky escapes it's as if his survival was destined to be, almost by some divine intervention. In Hebrew we call such luck "Bashert", which roughly translates as, "Destined by God". I hope you enjoy reading Conrad's story and it gives you pause for thought about how fate, luck, destiny - call it what you will seem to play a part in all our lives.
